Christian Hospital Foundation Gala to Recognize Leaders from Hospital and Community

The Christian Hospital Foundation will host its Christian Hospital Foundation Gala (formerly the Legacy Leaders Dinner) on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis. Please join us as we celebrate our community by honoring those who make a difference. Proceeds from this year’s gala will help support the medication indigent fund for children and adults, the addition of lifesaving ambulance transfusion services and provide diabetes education starter kits. The attire is Great Gatsby or Black-tie.

Robert Plummer, chair of Christian Hospital Board of Directors, will receive the Christian Hospital Distinguished Leadership Award. This award honors an individual or organization who has made exemplary contributions to the health and well-being of hospital patients and the community through leadership and philanthropy to improve access or coordination of care.

Arnold Bullock, MD, will be recognized with the Physician of the Year Award. This award is bestowed upon a physician at Christian Hospital who exemplifies compassion, commitment and expertise with innovative technologies and therapies. He or she demonstrates strong leadership by partnering with other professionals or organizations to improve the health and well-being of the community we serve.

Kimberly Clark, RN, is the Nursing Leadership Award recipient. This award recognizes an innovative leader who acts as a change agent to improve nursing culture at Christian Hospital and/or Northwest HealthCare.

Honoree for the Paul F. Detrick Award will be announced at the Gala. This award recognizes significant contributions and service to health care delivery at Christian Hospital and Northwest HealthCare. The recipient of this award will be announced at the Gala.

Kelvin R. Westbrook, chair of BJC HealthCare Board of Directors, will be the master of ceremonies for the event.
