2015 Resident Profiles

Erica Barr, Pharm.D. PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident 

Erica is from Russellville, Arkansas. She received her doctorate of pharmacy at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy. Her professional interests include Emergency Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Academia. After this year, she plans to become a board-certified pharmacist and continue to pursue a career that involves both clinical pharmacy in an acute care setting as well as opportunities to teach and precept students in the realm of academia. 

“I am both excited and proud to be at Christian Hospital for my PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency. The kindness and hospitality exuded by Christian Hospital staff extends far beyond the pharmacy department. The entire hospital has been more than helpful as I design and implement my research project. Also, all of my preceptors have worked with me to incorporate my interests into whatever rotation I have been on. I look forward to the clinician and mentor that Christian Hospital is preparing me to be.”


Marianne Dust, Pharm.D. PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident 

Marianne is originally from Mattoon, Illinois. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Pharmacy in 2015. Her professional interests include Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Infectious Diseases. Following residency training, Marianne plans to become a board-certified clinical pharmacist and work with a multidisciplinary healthcare team as a clinical pharmacist and preceptor for pharmacy students and residents.
