Six-time winner of the "Auxiliary of the Year" award by the Missouri Hospital Association

| Christian Hospital Auxiliary Founding Members |
Since 1957, the Auxiliary has raised a significant amount of money through fund-raising activities and sales at the Curiosity Resale Shop, Ribbon's and Roses flower shop and the Gift Shop at Christian Hospital. These donations have helped the Hospital excel in patient care with projects including:
- $1 million for surgery center
- $900,000 for a new MRI
- $350,000 for addition of three ambulances
- $200,000 for the Linear Accelerator
- $150,000 for the Cancer Care Center
- $150,000 for the Wound Care Center
- Adult and child daycare bus

Scholarships
The Auxiliary is committed to strengthening the community and Hospital by annually awarding $1,000 scholarships to qualified students interested in pursuing a career in the medical field. To qualify for the scholarships, the recipient must be a child or relative of a Christian Hospital employee or Auxiliary member. Scholarship monies are paid directly to the school attended.

Auxiliary Provides $60,000 for Patient Chair Lifts
The Christian Hospital Auxiliary presented the Hospital with a check for $60,000 to purchase mobile portable patient chair lifts and ceiling. The devices enhance patient safety and help reduce back injuries in patient care providers.
The Christian Hospital Auxiliary hosts fund-raising events and sales throughout the year and uses the proceeds to improve patient care at Christian Hospital and in the St. Louis County community. The Auxiliary operates Ribbons & Roses floral and gift shop, the hospital Gift Shop and the Curiosity Shoppe, all on the Hospital campus.

Carol Lockhart Named Christian Hospital 'Auxilian of the Year'
Carol Lockhart, pictured center, was named the 2009 Christian Hospital Auxilian of the Year. Auxiliary president Carole Plender, left, and first vice president Johnnie Greenlaw, presented the honor to Lockhart, a long-time Christian Hospital Auxiliary member and volunteer. Lockhart serves on the Auxiliary board as hospitality chairwoman and volunteers in Ribbons & Roses floral and gifts on the Hospital campus.
The Christian Hospital Auxiliary is one of the largest service organizations in the St. Louis metropolitan area, with more than 400 members. Ever since the Auxiliary was chartered in 1964, it has hosted numerous fundraisers to support its primary function of raising funds for hospital equipment, expansion projects and special services to enhance patient care.
The group also supports community programs that serve youth and those in need. At Christian Hospital, the Auxiliary operates the hospital gift shop, the Curiosity Shoppe, and Ribbons & Roses Florist.
