Exceptional Staff
The nurses of the neurology unit provide comprehensive, efficient and effective care to all patients admitted to the area. All nurses working with neurology patients have completed an extensive orientation program comprised of a general orientation followed by on-the-unit orientation while partnered with a nurse. After completing orientation, the nurses' responsibilities include neurological assessments, planning patient care, providing appropriate treatment and evaluating patient response to the treatment.

Our neurologists and neurosurgeons provide a complete continuum of care. The neurology unit works in conjunction with the radiology unit to perform computed tomography (CT) scans and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
