The Christian Hospital Skilled Nursing facility is a 24-bed unit licensed by the state of Missouri for patients requiring interim care following hospitalization before returning home or transitioning to a residential facility. Our rehabilitation services meet the unique needs of each patient, enabling them to return to a level of functioning consistent with their pre-hospitalization lifestyles.
When a patient is admitted to the Christian Hospital Skilled Nursing facility, a plan of care is initiated by the admitting physician. Services are provided by a multi-disciplinary team consisting of nursing, social services, dietary, activity therapy and rehabilitative services, including physical therapy and occupational therapy. A care team meets on an outgoing basis to assess the patient's progress. Family care conferences are scheduled every Tuesday, but can be arranged for a time that meets the needs of family members.
