Professional Development
Your professional development is important to us. The Center for Training and Development facilitates innovative, progressive, lifelong learning opportunities for all employees and the communities it serves. The Center's mission is to:

Courses
The Center for Training and Development offers staff and leadership development courses on transitioning to supervision, conflict management, motivation, labor relations, communication, computer software programs and CPR. Critical care, wound and ostomy care, and diabetes courses also are available.
Wellness
The Fitness Center at Christian Hospital offers an extensive variety of equipment to develop strength, flexibility and aerobic conditioning. Free membership is provided to employees, volunteers and physicians.
Assessment Center
The assessment center offers employees access to assessments to help them better understand their own work behavior. Assessments such as the Myers -Briggs Type Indicator, Firo-B, and Strong Interest survey enable employees to design a professional development plan that is custom-tailored to their personalities, needs, and communication styles.
