Tuition Assistance
Christian Hospital offers two tuition assistance plans. To be eligible for either plan, the undergraduate student must make a "C" or better or "pass" a "pass/fail" course. A "B" or better or a "pass" in a pass/fail course is required for graduate work.
Plan A: General Tuition Reimbursement Plan
Tuition reimbursement is available to regular full-time and part-time benefits-eligible employees. To qualify for tuition reimbursement, employees must have been in an eligible status for six months prior to the commencement of classes.
- Regular Full-Time Employees -- Tuition and required fees up to a maximum of $3,000 per calendar year
- Regular Part-Time Employees -- Tuition and required fees up to a maximum of $1,500 per calendar year
Plan B: Tuition Loan Plan
Tuition loans of up to $4,500 are provided for regular full-time and part-time benefits-eligible employees. These loans can be used towards these fields of study:
- Certified respiratory therapist (CRRT)
- Cytotechnologist, cytologist
- Histology technologist (HTL) and histology technician
- Laboratory technician
- Medical records coder/abstractor
- Medical imaging technologist -- advanced medical imaging technologist, ct technologist, mammography technologist, MRI technologist, special procedures technologist
- Medical technologist (MT) (ASCP)
- Nuclear medicine technologist
- Pharmacist
- Radiation therapist
- Registered nurse
- Registered respiratory therapist (RRT)
- Surgical technician
- Ultrasound technologist
Loan Repayment Plan
This loan repayment plan helps ease the financial burden to students after graduation. The program requires an employment commitment of 12 months. Annual loan repayment maximum is $4,000 per year, and the lifetime maximum is $12,000. Recipients must be a new graduate of an accredited institution and employed in one of these positions:
- Staff nurse
- Medical imaging technologist
- Nuclear medical technologist
- Sonographers
- Registered respiratory therapist
