Cancer Care Center Awarded Highest-Level Three-Year Accreditation
The Christian Hospital Cancer Care Center has been awarded a three-year accreditation with commendation as a Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Program from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, which recently conducted an on-site survey. This is the highest level of accreditation achievable.
"This accreditation signifies that the highest quality of cancer care is provided at Christian Hospital," says Timothy Rearden, MD, medical director of the Christian Hospital Cancer Care Center. "Only one in four hospitals that treats cancer receives this special approval. It recognizes the quality of our comprehensive cancer program and the commitment of our staff and physicians to ensure patients have access to latest resources in diagnosing and treating cancer close to where they live."
