St. Louis, Mo, Jan. 4, 2019 - The board of directors of North County Incorporated (NCI), a regional development association, elected Rick Stevens, president of Christian Hospital. Stevens will serve a one-year term and succeeds Dr. Chris Kilbride, superintendent for the Ritenour School District.

As president of Christian Hospital, Rick Stevens is responsible for positioning Christian Hospital as a provider of quality critical health care services in north St. Louis County. Stevens provides strategic leadership and oversees daily operations of the 220-staffed-bed hospital.

“We are delighted to benefit from Rick’s leadership,” said Zoll, president and CEO of NCI. “To witness the important changes he has made at Christian Hospital to improve patient care including the new Siteman Cancer care center being built is exciting. Rick is a connector, and under his guidance, he and the board will further our mission for advocating for economic and community growth in North County.

Stevens has received numerous accolades throughout his health care career including the St. Louis Business Journal’s 2017 “Diverse Business Leader” award, the 2006 Louisville YMCA Black Achievers Award, Modern Healthcare’s “2005 Up and Comers Award,” and the National Association of Health Services Executives’ “2002 Young Healthcare Executive” award.

“I look forward to serving as board chair for North County Inc. and partnering with the board, Rebecca Zoll and her staff,” said Rick Stevens. “North County has a lot to offer. It’s a strong community with areas of expertise and excellence, and we will seek out opportunities with community partners for the betterment of North County.”
