Washington University Physicians Welcomed

Christian Hospital is pleased to welcome the following physicians to medical staff.

Kelly Currie, MD, is a Washington University plastic and reconstructive surgeon who is on the medical staff at Christian Hospital. She completed her general surgery residency at Mary Imogene Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, N.Y., and her plastic surgery residency at the University of Colorado in Denver. She then went on to complete a hand and microsurgery fellowship at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Ill. She specializes in hand/upper extremity surgery and general reconstructive plastic surgery. Dr. Currie has an office at Christian Hospital and welcomes new patients. Washington University’s Ear, Nose & Throat Center at Christian Hospital has welcomed Nyssa Farrell, MD. Dr. Farrell completed her otolaryngology residency at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and a fellowship in advanced rhinology & endoscopic skull base surgery from Oregon Health and Science University. She performs advanced endoscopic sinus surgery and minimally invasive anterior skull base surgery. Her clinical practice is focused on nasal and sinus disorders with a particular interest in chronic rhinosinusitis, nasal obstruction, hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, and allergy. To schedule an appointment with Dr. Farrell, please call 314.362.7509.

Kerri Ohman, MD, is a Washington University colorectal surgeon who recently joined the medical staff at Christian Hospital.  She completed a colorectal surgery fellowship and general surgery residency at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Ohman earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. Her specialty areas include colon and rectal cancer, anal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s Disease. In addition to her specialty areas, Dr. Ohman is interested in research quality improvement and enhanced recovery for patients.  She sees patients at Christian Hospital and Siteman Cancer Center North County and is currently accepting new patients.
