Christian Hospital welcomes Ripa Patel, MD, MBA, FACC, Interventional Cardiologist

Ripa Patel, MD, MBA, FACC, is an interventional cardiologist who is board certified in both cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. She became a Fellow in the American College of Cardiology in 2018.

Dr. Patel completed her fellowship in interventional cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida, and her fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Augusta University Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia, where she was selected to serve as Chief Cardiology Fellow. She completed her residency in internal medicine from the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Dr. Patel earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and, recently, her MBA from Hull College of Business at Augusta University.

Dr. Patel welcomes new patients for general and interventional cardiology to help in the management of their coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, pericardial diseases, valvular heart diseases, congenital heart diseases and peripheral arterial diseases. She performs a variety of cardiovascular procedures.

Dr. Patel’s care philosophy is to provide patient-focused, individualized cardiac care. “Cardiology is constantly growing and developing with advancements in medicine and technology that allow the lives of patients to improve in several ways.
