Paget’s Disease of the Nipple

Paget’s disease of the nipple is a rare form of breast cancer that occurs in or around the nipple. Symptoms for Paget’s disease may include redness or crusting of the nipple and surrounding skin.

Paget’s disease can be diagnosed during a breast biopsy or cytology. Treatment for Paget’s disease could include radiation, chemotherapy or surgery. A mastectomy is the most common treatment.
