What is Hepatitis?

Hepatitis is inflammation of the liver that can be caused by drugs, alcohol use, medical conditions and liver viruses.

Types of Hepatitis

Hepatitis A: spreads through contaminated food or water

Hepatitis B: spreads through blood or bodily fluids and can lead to liver damage or failure

Hepatitis C: spreads through infected blood

  • Jaundice of eyes and skin
