The Christian Hospital Foundation creates opportunities for individuals and organizations to provide vital support that directly improves the health and wellness of our community. By working together to provide service, compassionate care and clinical excellence to our neighbors, we’re all Helping Make Care for LifeSM Possible. We support efforts such as patient care, advanced medicine and technology, community benefit programs and staff education.

Hybrid Operating Room
We are thrilled to announce the beginning of Christian Hospital Foundation’s largest capital fundraising campaign to date. The Advanced Technology and Compassionate Care campaign will fund the Hospital’s construction of a hybrid operating room. This large, sterile operating suite will allow multidisciplinary physician and nursing teams to work together on minimally invasive heart and valve procedures. This will ultimately allow our patients to return to their family and friends and their normal routine in our community sooner. Less than 1 percent of hospitals in the United States have such a room. The addition of a hybrid operating room keeps Christian Hospital on the forefront of technology and procedures for our heart care service line.



Comfort Care Suites
Our Comfort Care Suite provides a calm and tranquil location where patients who are seriously ill, undergoing palliative medical treatment or hospice care can be with their family members privately. The suite features private patient rooms with lots of natural light, comfortable lounge chairs and pull-out beds for family to stay with their loved one for as long as they like -- whenever they like, with no restrictive visiting hours. There is an adjoining family room and kitchen area, all furnished with home-like decor to make our patients and their family feel as peaceful as possible.



Community Benefit Programs
The Foundation proudly supports programs that provide education, access to care and medication for the uninsured and underserved members of our community. We are committed to our mission and that of our Hospital. You can attend events such as the Heart Fair, Busting Diabetes Fair and two-day Mamm-o-thon as well as receive access to care and education through the Diabetes Institute and CHAMP (Christian Hospital Asthma Management Program), just to name a few. All free because of the work of the Foundation. Without the support of our generous community, nearly 11,000 individuals would not receive excellent clinic care in their own neighborhoods.
