Your investment will provide essential funding to improve the health and well-being of our north St. Louis County community. Proceeds raised will help Christian Hospital Foundation continue to support vital programs and efforts such as:
The Medical Indigent Fund – Nearly three-out-of-five Americans take medications daily. Social and economic factors are drivers of medication non-adherence in our service area. Annually, the Foundation raises monies for our indigent population, providing more than $100,000 per year to assist our patients and community.
Lifesaving Ambulance Transfusion Services – Trauma is the leading cause of death for people under 46 years old. Uncontrolled bleeding remains the #1 cause of preventable death in trauma. Christian Hospital’s Emergency Medical Service Department responds and assists hundreds of traumatic injuries with our 911 ambulance service. The Foundation has provided funding to equip our ambulances with high-tech refrigeration equipment allowing the transportation of whole blood to perform immediate life-saving blood transfusions inside and outside the ambulance.
Community Health Access Program to address patients’ social determinants of health and directly connect them to resources to take control of their health such as a Medical-Legal Partnership to bring a full-time attorney on designated to provide free legal ease to patients. By addressing legal issues related to social determinants of health, a full-time attorney allows the CHAP team to create lasting change in patient access to health care and a longstanding impact on their social determinants of health and wellness
Building Healthy Communities Fund that provides health care for scholars in our School-Based Health Centers to address community needs related to education and health access."
Unique Incentives to sponsor
As an awardee of the Neighborhood Assistance Program tax credit program we can offer up to 50% in tax credits for sponsors that choose to donate $5,000 to $20,000.
Another option to support is in the form of transfer of stock. If you’re worried that donating stock will be complicated and time-consuming, you don’t have to be. A donor-advised fund takes the hassle out of donating stock. Because different assets take different amounts of time to be transferred, you should initiate your transactions as early as possible. For more information, please contact the Christian Hospital Foundation office at 314.653.5162 or use the registration link to reserve your spots today.
