Paul F. Detrick Legacy Leadership Award
This award honors an individual whose impact and commitment has left a legacy in the North County community.
Sister Karl Mary Winkelmann, SSND
Through her leadership and dedication, Sister Karl Mary Winkelmann, SSND, impacted thousands of lives in her 36 years of service at Rosary and Trinity Catholic high schools before retiring in June 2018. Her passion for Catholic education ensures a lasting legacy remains in North County.
Community Vision Award
This award recognizes an organization or community member who has created economic opportunities to further the North County area’s presence in the region.
The Florissant Rotary
The Florissant Rotary, established in 1960, is composed of civic-minded executives, business owners and professionals who contribute their skills and talents to the progress of North County by supporting local charities and providing academic scholarships to local students.
Physician of the Year Award
This award is bestowed to a physician who has dedicated much of his or her career to serving the patients at Christian Hospital with compassion and expertise.
Wm. Douglas Zweig, MD
Wm. Douglas Zweig, MD, joined Pulmonary Consultants, LLC, at Christian Hospital in 1985. He has served on multiple medical staff and hospital committees, including chief of staff and board of directors for 14 years. His primary focus is to maintain state-of-the-art patient care practices for those seeking care in our facilities.
Carpe Diem Award
The Carpe Diem Award is presented to an organization or individual who recognizes a need and takes initiative to address that need.
Reverend Cedric Portis, Sr.
Reverend Cedric Portis, Sr. of Third Presbyterian Church is a champion for youth, deeply engaged as a mentor, volunteer, scholarship funder and advocate for students in Hazelwood, Normandy and Riverview Gardens school districts.
